2008. it is ending in another few more hours time and 2009 will than arrived. that's really fast uh! through this one year, jiawen has been a great a good girl. in school, she tries her best to keep herself awake for all lessons, at home, she tries not to talk back to daddy, mummy and gives way to her dear younger sister. though for this one year, she has been through quite a number of ups and downs, but she has still manage to survive! *applause* for all the mistakes that she had made, she learnt from it, for all the circumstances that has been standing in her way, she learns not to hide but to overcome it. for all that she has been through, it has all made her stronger and also allows her to grow into a mature 17teen years old girl. 2008, also a critic year for her. cos, it is olevels. she sat for all subjects and didnt dropped any of it and would really hope that her hardwork would pay off by getting her desired poly and course. for CCA wise, she has also decided to continue her passion instead of ending it as a redcross instructor!. though her passion for redcross now, wasn't really that strong as she has in the past but, she still decided to continue cos she believed, her passion will come back and that's the only way to keep the friendships that she has all forged in redcross to keep going till forever...

2009, a special year cos we are all gonna be separted with all my friends that i've known for 5years and moving into the part of our life, with new stories, new friends and new environment.
though 2008 is ending, but the memories that you has all given me, im gonna carry it on with me to the next chapter of my life.

24Dec {Christmas eve}

Deltas' outing at Marina Square. went to watch 'Yes Man' ;D the movie wasn't really that bad laa. in fact, its hilarious(; haha. after that was bowling time. it reminds me of the last ULP06 gathering that i actually went to. haha. the same place that we bowl. yucks* my bowling skill sucks man. haha. played 2 rounds, 2 round also the lowest there :( but i did have fun. and i also love the time for the christmas's present exchange. haha. oops:/ i didnt brought mine on that day - didnt have time to complete the cards but i will give them during retreat!;D thanks all! (: yays. presents!;D

family outing. cos its HumtyDumpty's - my sis's birthday. as usual. daddy book the restaurant at IMM like we always do when its her birthday(: haha. finally can enjoy some good food(: hur hur.

26 Dec {VI retreat}
suppose to meet the rest of the deltas' at Kembangan MRT station at 11.00 but im late:/ cos im meeting shu ying at yew tee mrt station at 1020. Retreat was quite fun laa overall. cos, we didnt really have any stuffs on hand to do. but just going Chai Chee area with the rest for marketing. ohyahs, thanks Jeffrey for the ice-cream treat yah (: after reaching campsite we didnt really have any stuffs to do luh, OTOT all the way till POC preparation. and its BBQ's time no steamboat :( haha. but uh, it doesnt really matter laa. cos the BBQ food wasnt really that bad too. haha. POC *scary* when it was my turn, Daphne maam was suddenly telling me "why you so kan chiong? "^~^ really very scary laa. i didnt even dare to see my results. and deltas was planning to take a look at it together but the sir is collecting it back. and yep, P.PASS! ;D happy enough already. haha. Christmas Present exhange time with Ambrose sir as the Santa Claus. was wondering who has actually got my present. and i've got KINDER SURPRISE chocos. havent been eating that for uperb long and my batchmates was like saying " i didnt know that kinder surprise actually still exist" haha (: but i really miss eating that. haha. thanks to the "? someone" ;D

27-28 Dec {OA ITP camp}

passed my OA bronze and silver(; *happy-happy* the last time that i had actually touched OA was like uh, when i was in sec2. and i have totally forgotten eveything laa. and the only thing that i can recall is only the House-Keeping Knot -.- and the whole course is beneficial laa. learnt a number of things. building of campfire structure, roasting of chickens, building of ~~catterpots~~ (edit)'catapult' outdoor cooking without a soilid fuel and limited number of matchsticks, map reading(yay, i finally know how to read the compass though i still end up in the wrong spot) THANKS MILISSA!;D haha and bla bla bla. for this camp was with my new groupmates. and Alvin sir was my new mentor (sucha coincident) initially it was shwu yuewh maam. but since he was not there for the camp, we merged with YingQi maam and Derek sir group. fun to be in their group and my new partner Milissa thanks for guiding me all along for the knots&lashings and the map reading thing ;D ahaha. train back home this time round, i didnt overslept! ;D yays. rawr! sunburnt again!!!!

29 Dec {unity rcy's BBQ gathering}

Yelyn, Yvonne and Shahila went too! havent really seen them for a very very very long time. uh, 2years? and they are there for the gathering too;D bbq-ing, chit-chatting and eating. but its really nice to get to see peeps that i have not seen for quite long like suvin, june etc etc. misses all of them alot. while the rest of the juniors was playing soccer at Mega, was chatting with Suvin and Shu Ying;D chatting about the present and past. from sec 1 till now, everything that happen in the past was just like things that had happen a few days ago. after that we actually tried riding KN's bike. omg! so darn funny laa. cos the seat was far too high and we cant even reached it. and poor KN's bike fall 2 times, contributions from me & shu ying ^^, oops

delta 10/09's outing cum isabella's farewell outing yesterday at ceinleisure. ahaha.
watched 'Four Christmases' funny and quite nice. but we was late for the movie cos of the buying of popcorns and drinks;D after that was neoprint time *click click* (: cant really remember when was the last time that i has last took neoprints. i wanted to scan in the pictures but there seems to be something wrong with my scanner:/ was randomly shopping around from shops to shops and i saw "pinklet" (george you should know what i mean) ;D and dinner time at Pastamania. after that some of us like Jia Min, Yu Ping, George, Gin Yong and Chee Wei actually accompanied Isabella to ECP since it was her last day in Singapore and would be migrating to England soon. and ECP was indeed a place which holds back alot of our memories. no matter isit, ulp, vip, rc or what... i even broke my own record laa, 12 midnight, and im still in ECP with the girls waiting for Jia Min's Daddy to drive us home. thanks!;D and poor guys has to cab home with drunk Chee Wei home after his drink.

tiring but i did enjoyed myself lots. tough but i had indeed learnt alot not only from the instructors and also from all my fellow batchmates. and im still missing everyone of them there.
its not the end but just the start of everything.

and i have finally got to pass my evacuation bronze;D lalala. *happy happy* cos it was like in the past in my unit, i always never had the chance to arrange any accred for evac. but now i have pass. but for the silver part uh, i screwed it up. arrgg. for lesson presentation, really hope that i can make it through. cos i have really been trying my very best to keep myself calm.
for exercise humanity, the most tiring exercise throughout the whole camp. we manage to move on and reach our destination smoothly but way down back to the command post was just the start of the tiring part. *phobia to stretcher* even though we had manage to get the lightest casualty and it was all the way down. but both me and sarah's shoulder was like aching like siao by carrying the stretcher all the way down.. *muscles sour* but its only after the toughest, our bondings starts to strengthen even though our bond wasnt really that strong. also thanks to both daphne maam and evelyn maam, for the small little thingy that m&m and little card you did for us(:

train back home after camp break. was so tired that i just found a spot on the ground, hug my bag and fell asleep. and i dont even know which station am i at till the train arrived at a particular station, i just took my bag off and went out, and its only at "BUONA VISTA" but im suppose to drop off at "JURONG EAST" and its so damn embarrassing to walk back into the train again before the doors close. ohmygod laa.

p.s daphne maam, sorry for the design thingy, cos i didnt realised it until the moment you tell me:/ sorry sorry!
seriously, im in need of more sleeps now, cos it seems like my brain wasnt like functioning well now. i haven been doing alot of blur and stupid things for today laa:/ uh-ohs:/

just read finish a thread from fadhilah posted in the vip forum, standardize to white tshirts only. which means, no more camp unity tee. rawr. im running out of tshirts and neither do i wanna spend anymore money luh. have been spending alot these days. im broke. and what make things worst is, i still cant find my ndp06 tee. ohmygod! many many things still not done yet..
1. familiarised with my lesson plan.
2. read up evac bonze & silver notes.
3. be well-prepared for aop {i dont wanna see flying proposals} -scary-
4. pack up for camp.
5. more, more and more sleep.
but seriously, i could hardly catch any sleep these days.

i really wanted to do my best and not to disappoint anyone but it seems like, im losing my confident more and more. im so afraid of this and that, afraid that i cant really do my jobs well and perform up to standard etc etc. cos, its really like so different frrom ulp. and the more im afraid of, the more mistakes i will make. rawr. -breathe in...breathe out- whatever it is, i will just do my best bah. i really dont wanna disappoint anyone!.
